One of the illest logos. Designed by then Slam Creative Director Don Morris using FF HARLEM font (with some tweaks). It's crazy cuz looking at the font, I don't think much of it, it's a wild lookin display typeface but in a way that's the secret sauce - someone's sensibility taking it from nothing to something. It has a bit of a 90's aeshetic but is still very contemporary. Dam...look at that thing!

TRACK OF THE DAY. Silky smooth sexy house track for pretty well any time of day. Deep baseline, sultry vocals, and some nice synth notes. Only thing missing that I typically also love is some horns.

A recent job I did for Studio A-ok that dropped a few weeks back (sold out now). The brief was simple, the only requirement was including the slogan 'Don't Panic It's Organic'. The rest was for me to interpret and do my thing on. It's one my favourite type of briefs and luckily it's become more common than not where a client wants my interpretation on an idea and to see where I can push it.

Music videos now aren't what they use to be. I use to stay up late as a yute watching Much Music Rap City for the latest hip hop videos. It was dope to see some of the wild concepts directors would come up with and for the most part they were sick. The videos gave the tracks an extra layer of depth, allowing viewers to really sink into the concept as a whole. All music, at least for me, stimulates emotion and visuals but sometimes it's nice when someone paints the picture for you.

TYPE 01. A great resource for typography but also just a decent read. Each issue has a different theme based around type. Good interviews with foundries, designers, and current trends in the industry. Nice design and layout aswell making it easy on the eyes.
