The 1972 Munich Olympics brand ID is so tight. It was created by Olt Aicher with 2 poster campaigns which I can only assume was done under his direction. 1 - was the 'art' series, where each poster was commissioned by a different artist, and 2 - the 'sport' series which were all done by 1 designer using a sick treatment. Some heavyweight artists took part in the 'art' series campaign: David Hockney, Josef Albers, and Tom Wesselmann to name a few. Some of the original posters now go for thousands of dollars and are editions of 4000 (2000 for EU and 2000 for the US). This could be one the better olympic branding jobs and definately some collectible posters.

FOR SALE: I'm letting go of my Percival Lafer MP-41 2 seater sofa. It was my first piece of PL and I thought I would hang on to it forever, and part of me still wants to but it's collecting dust in storage. I know one day I'll have room for it and then I'll regret getting rid of it but for now I'd love to see it used by someone else. Email me for offers / details.

One of the best to ever do it - from albums to film scores Ryuichi Sakamoto's art will be missed. BTTB is in my opinion one of his finest works, front to back every track hits. Perfect for a Monday morning like today to get things flowing. Listen to the full album below starting off with 'OPUS', my favourite track from the album. Not sure but think Kanye might have sampled this one...

Adobe with some rare fire. One of the (only) best free fonts I've seen, especially if you're into mono types. OCR-A actually has a bit of character, system type kinda vibe, which makes sense considering it was developed in 1968. I think it could look dope not just as a supporting font but large as a tittle or part of a graphic - maybe a t-shirt or poster. Get it for free with your adobe account here.

RECORD OF THE DAY. 'Road Hog' is Galcher Lustwerk's driving-themed alias.  The car and the club are the two best places to bang out tracks and so when I found out about GL making music that was meant to be listened to while driving...say less, instantly copped and listened to anything under that alias I could find. 'Rubicon' marks the first physical edition as previous releases have only been digital. Album artwork hits and the track names are dope too : 'Spares', 'Hual Ass', 'DWB (Driving While Black). One of my favourites from this release is 'Wash'. Listen to it here.
